High Density Board (HDF)
High Density Board (HDF) is crafted by compressing wood fibers together by a mechanical process. It is very similar to particle board and MDF, but is much stronger in comparison to both of them. It serves as a great option for indoor and outdoor furniture, wall paneling, room partitions, cabinets etc.
HDF generally features a smooth surface and features no grains. It is made from exploded wood fibers. Wax and resin are then mixed with it and a lot of heat and pressure is applied to the mixture mechanically to form HDF. HDF is of a better quality than MDF and is resistant to fungus and termites attacks.
